Our apprentices get exclusive access to paid training and industry connections that can help make career dreams come true.
Mentors become a resource for the next generation of music industry professionals. Your role is to guide, to give advice, and to support the mentee. A mentor can help their mentee improve their abilities and skills through observation, assessment, modeling, and by providing on-going guidance. The mentor-mentee relationship should create opportunities for sharing experiences, viewpoints, personal and academic goals, building a professional network, and providing emotional support. The Apprenticeship Mentorship structured experience lasts 6 - 12 months. Mentors meeting once per month at minimum with Mentees.
Training Partners provide training curriculum and hands-on experiences to support our Apprentices and pre-apprentice program. Training partners are industry leaders who have expertise in teaching and training young professionals, providing the most current knowledge and best practices in the industry, so trainees are set up for success.
Employers hire Apprentices in paid, on-the-job training roles in one of the offered career pathways. Apprentices complete 2000 hours of work over the course of 12 months while receiving mentorship, additional instruction, and support. Assessment and evaluations are conducted throughout the program to ensure competencies and successful completion.
